Ironically, I now teach confidence, charisma, communication, and executive presence for a living… because growing up, I struggled heavily with social anxiety.

​

I was the kid replaying conversations in my head for three days afterward. The kid overthinking introductions. The kid trying to figure out how everyone else seemed to naturally know what to say while I internally felt awkward and unsure of myself.

​

The truth is, I desperately wanted to connect with people — I just didn’t know how.

​

So instead of naturally becoming “the social guy,” I became obsessed with studying communication.

​

As a teenager, I started carrying around what I called my “Awesomeness Journal” — a notebook where I documented social observations, communication breakthroughs, body language insights, conversation techniques, confidence experiments, and lessons about human behavior. What started as a way to cope with anxiety slowly turned into a fascination with understanding what actually makes people magnetic, memorable, trustworthy, and influential.

Over time, I realized something that completely changed my life:

The most successful people are not always the smartest people in the room. They’re the people who know how to connect with others.

​

That realization eventually became the foundation for what is now The Fedderson Formula.

​

Today, I help individuals, leaders, teams, and organizations improve confidence, charisma, credibility, communication, executive presence, storytelling, networking, body language, and interpersonal influence.

​

Because while technical skills may get you in the door… I firmly believe what happens after the door opens is what changes lives.

​

One of the core philosophies I teach is this:

“Technical skills may get you started, but approximately 85% of long-term success in life and business is driven by interpersonal communication skills.”

​

In other words:
People don’t just remember what you know.
They remember how you make them feel.

​

My coaching and speaking style blends communication psychology, humor, practical strategy, storytelling, and real-world application in a way that feels authentic, engaging, and immediately actionable. I want people leaving my presentations feeling energized, capable, and confident enough to walk into any room with greater presence and influence.

Ironically, my social media audience now affectionately refers to me as “The Anti-Social Social Enthusiast” — a title I proudly embrace because it resonates with so many people who secretly feel nervous, awkward, intimidated, or unsure of themselves socially.

Today, I’ve built an audience of more than 89,000 followers on TikTok, been featured in the New York Post, and spoken for organizations including ALG Vacations, Hyatt Regency, 3M, Duke University, ASTA, and many others.

Whether I’m speaking on stage, coaching professionals, teaching networking strategies, helping leaders improve executive presence, or breaking down the psychology of charisma online, my mission remains the same:

Because confidence isn’t magic.
Charisma isn’t reserved for extroverts.
And communication is one of the most powerful skills a person can learn.
